Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, receive a warm welcome and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy a traditional tika ceremony, followed by a briefing and a welcome drink upon check-in. In the evening, savor dinner at a Nepalese restaurant featuring a vibrant cultural dance performance. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Charaudi, the rafting starting point. Gear up and embark on an exhilarating white-water rafting experience on the Trishuli River. After completing the rafting journey, enjoy lunch before continuing your drive to Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival, check into a jungle lodge or resort. In the evening, enjoy a Tharu stick dance performance, followed by dinner. Overnight at the lodge/resort.
Start your day with an early morning nature walk and bird-watching session, accompanied by tea or coffee. After breakfast, head out on an elephant-back safari, exploring the jungle for sightings of deer, rhinos, wild boars, leopards, monkeys, and various bird species. Later, enjoy a canoe ride along the Dungre or Rapti River to spot crocodiles, including the rare marsh mugger and Gharial. Visit the elephant breeding center and, in the late afternoon, take a guided walk through a nearby Tharu village. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/resort.
After breakfast, set off on a scenic drive to Pokhara (155 km, approximately 4 hours). Enjoy lunch en route. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and take the rest of the day to relax or prepare for the trek. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After an early breakfast, drive to Nayapul (30 km, 1 hour) to begin your trek. Walk along the Modi Khola River to reach Birethanti, a charming village with tea houses and shops. The trail continues along the Bhurungdi Khola before ascending steadily to Hille and, finally, Tikhedhunga. This relatively easy trek introduces you to the beauty of Nepal’s landscapes. Overnight at a guesthouse.
After breakfast, begin a steep climb to Ulleri, a traditional Magar village at 2,070m. The trail gradually ascends through oak and rhododendron forests, passing Banthanti (2,250m) and Nangethanti (2,460m) before reaching Ghorepani (2,775m). Overnight at a guesthouse.
Start early for a short hike to Poon Hill, where you’ll witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayan peaks, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, and Machhapuchhre. Return to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue trekking through lush forests to Tadapani. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Descend through forests to reach the picturesque village of Ghandruk, home to the Gurung community. This village offers stunning mountain views and insight into the Gurung culture, traditions, and lifestyle. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Enjoy a gentle downhill trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul. From there, drive back to Pokhara. In the late afternoon, explore Pokhara’s highlights, including the International Mountain Museum, Devi’s Fall, and Fewa Lake. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, transfer to Pokhara airport for your flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and visit the lively Thamel area for shopping and lunch. Enjoy dinner at the renowned Baithak Restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Begin the day with a guided tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Bhaktapur. These UNESCO World Heritage Sites feature stunning architecture, ancient temples, and cultural landmarks, including the Kumari Temple, Kasthmandap, and the Golden Gate. After lunch at Café Nyatapola in Bhaktapur, drive to Nagarkot to enjoy the panoramic views of the valley, sunset, and the golden Himalayas. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
