Payment, Cancellation, Refund, and Rescheduling Policy

At Axis Holidays Private Limited, we strive to maintain a seamless, transparent experience for all customers. Below are our detailed policies covering payments, cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling.


1. Payment Policy



1.1. Payment Terms

  • Booking Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment, as specified in the invoice or communication.
  • Payment Schedule: Payments for bookings may be required in instalments. The payment schedule will be shared at the time of booking.

1.2. Modes of Payment:

We accept the following modes of payment:

  • Debit/Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.)
  • Bank Transfers (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS)
  • Online Payment Gateways
  • UPI (Unified Payment Interface)
  • Cash (for in-person transactions, subject to applicable legal limits)

1.3. Currency:

Payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR). For international transactions, currency conversion rates will be applied as per the payment provider.


2. Advance Payment Policy



2.1. Domestic Bookings:

A minimum of 30% of the total package cost is required to confirm the booking. The balance must be cleared at least 15 days prior to the travel date unless otherwise agreed.

2.2. International Bookings:

A minimum of 50% of the total package cost is required to confirm the booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to the travel date unless otherwise specified.

2.3. Last-Minute Bookings:

Bookings made within 7 days of the travel date require 100% payment upfront.


3. Cancellation Policy



3.1. Cancellation Charges:

Cancellation fees will apply as per the timeline below:

  • 45 days or more before departure: 10% of the total package cost.
  • 30–44 days before departure: 25% of the total package cost.
  • 15–29 days before departure: 50% of the total package cost.
  • Less than 15 days before departure: 75% to 100% of the total package cost (depending on the specific booking terms).

3.2. Non-Refundable Components:

Some services (e.g., airline tickets, hotel bookings, or activities) may be entirely non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation timeline. These will be specified at the time of booking.

3.3. Refunds:

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 15 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
  • Refunds will be made only to the original mode of payment used for the transaction.

3.4. Amendments and Rescheduling:

Rescheduling or changes to the booking will be treated as cancellations and rebookings, and the applicable cancellation charges will apply unless otherwise agreed.


4. Taxes and Service Charges



4.1. Taxes:

All payments are subject to applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) and other statutory taxes per Government of India regulations.

4.2. Service Charges:

Any service charges or transaction fees from banks or payment gateways are non-refundable and must be borne by the customer.


5. Payment Security and Disputes



5.1. Secure Transactions:

Payments are processed using industry-standard encryption through secure payment gateways.

5.2. Data Privacy:

Axis Holidays Private Limited does not store sensitive financial information, such as credit/debit card details.

5.3. Disputes:

Any payment-related disputes must be brought to our attention within 7 days of the transaction date.


6. Force Majeure



Axis Holidays Private Limited is not liable for cancellations, delays, or refund failures caused by factors beyond our control, such as natural disasters, technical failures, or government actions.
