Explore Gulmarg and spend the day by individual activities. Gulmarg is a place of exceptional beauty and has the world‘s highest green golf course and also turns into India‘s premier ski resort in winter. Day 06: Srinagar-Sonmarg-Srinagar (80kms/2½ hrs)
After breakfast proceed for the day excursion of Sonmarg . Sonmarg is one of the most beautiful place. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Sonamarg through the Sindh Valley which presents yet another spectacular facet of countryside in Kashmir. Situated at an altitude of 2730 Mt above sea level, Sonamarg “The Meadow of gold” has its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. After early breakfast we drive to Pangong lake for a day return trip over crossing the Changla baba pass (5,300mts./ 17,800ft.). Arrive & time to explore the picturesque Pangong lake or “Hollow Lake” (Asia’s largest saltwater lake, the water appears to be striped in varying shades of blue, purple and green).
